Over Golden Week, OAG Art Center Kobe presents concurrent solo exhibitions by two artists, Tomoko Inagaki and Takuma Uematsu. Each has looked at the world from a different perspective, exploring their own expression through a wide range of media including installation, drawing, photography and painting. Tomoko Inagaki visualizes the unease and instability within everyday life as installations, while Takuma Uematsu has recently presented works using popcorn as a motif. By presenting the two exhibitions, born from a space of experimental creation and dialogue at OAG Art Center Kobe, at the same time, a multilayered world emerges in which “how to read our times” and “how to express them” intersect. We invite you to see how these two artists of the same era look at the world.

Held concurrently with Takuma Uematsu’s exhibition ‘cornologue’.
