Home appliances, artificial turf, retort-pouch food, instant food, clothes
A space laid with artificial turf, somewhere between a garden and the inside of a home, holds a refrigerator, a television, a washing machine and a garden chair. The television shows footage of a blue sky. A performer, bulked up by dozens of white garments, sits on a picnic rug spread with colourful food.
The performer eats and then takes off one garment at a time, repeating the cycle of eating and undressing.
Long sleeves become short sleeves, trousers become a skirt, and finally, down to her underwear, she gathers up the clothes and puts them in the washing machine, and the performance ends.
All the clothes she wore are washed and hung to dry in the space.
